About the Journal
2.1Aims & Scope
The Annals of Research in Science and Technology (ARST) is an international, open access, double blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of original and rigorous research across the full breadth of science and technology. The journal was established to give researchers — particularly early-career scholars and those working in institutions with limited publishing support — a credible, ethically governed and affordable venue for disseminating their findings.
ARST deliberately does not restrict itself to a single discipline. Scientific problems of consequence increasingly sit at the boundaries between fields, and the journal's editorial policy is to evaluate a manuscript on the quality of its question, method and evidence rather than on its disciplinary label. Submissions are welcomed in the following subject areas.

2.2The Journal
ARST is published quarterly by the Inspire Foundation for Science and Society, a not-for-profit body based in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India, working to strengthen scientific culture and research capacity. Every accepted article is assigned a CrossRef DOI, is permanently archived, and is released immediately under a CC BY 4.0 licence with no embargo period.
Why Open Access?
- Research funded by the public should be readable by the public.
- Immediate, unrestricted availability measurably increases readership and citation.
- Authors retain copyright and may reuse their own work in teaching, theses and repositories.
- Institutions without large subscription budgets are not excluded from the scholarly record.
- Practitioners, policymakers and clinicians can act on findings without a paywall between them and the evidence.

2.3Peer Review Process
Every manuscript follows the twelve-step editorial workflow below. Indicated timelines are typical and may vary with reviewer availability and the complexity of the submission.

2.4Policies
Correction and Retraction Policy

APC Funding Model
ARST charges a modest Article Processing Charge only after a manuscript has been accepted. The charge covers editorial handling, similarity screening, copy-editing, DOI registration, hosting and long-term archiving. No charge is levied for submission or for review, and the ability to pay plays no part in any editorial decision. Genuine hardship waivers are considered on written request to the Editor-in-Chief.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Authors, reviewers and editors must disclose any financial, personal, professional or institutional relationship that could reasonably be seen to influence the work. Authors declare conflicts at submission and these are published with the article. Editors and reviewers with a competing interest in a manuscript recuse themselves from handling it.
Privacy Policy
Names, email addresses and affiliations entered on this site are used solely for the stated purposes of the journal and are not made available for any other purpose or to any third party. Correspondence relating to submissions is retained by the editorial office as part of the publication record.
